Sunderland will take on Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Sunderland players were training on Friday ahead of the Premier League game against Arsenal this weekend.

Sunderland will take on Arsenal at home in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Black Cats will head into the game at the Stadium of Light on the back of a 3-0 victory over Norwich City away from home.

Sam Allardyce’s side will be confident of getting something from the match against Arsenal.

One Sunderland player in particular will be looking forward to the match - goalkeeper Vito Mannone.

The 28-year-old started his professional club football career at Arsenal, but he failed to make an impact at the Emirates Stadium and joined Sunderland in the summer of 2013.

The Italian goalkeeper, who has kept two clean sheets in 15 Premier League appearances for the Black Cats so far this season, was training on Friday, and he seems quite upbeat (see photos below).

Sunderland defender Younes Kaboul, who joined the club from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2015, was also training on Friday.

The French centre-back was actually riding a bike in training (see photos below) to publicise a Foundation of Light charity bike ride.
