Martin Samuelsen is heading back to West Ham United from his loan spell at Peterborough United.

West Ham United youngster Martin Samuelsen has taken to social networking site Twitter to thank everyone at Peterborough United.

Samuelsen, who is just 19 years of age, joined Peterborough on loan in November 2015 until January 2016.

The youngster, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, had his loan spell at the League One outfit extended until the end of the season.

However, it seems that Samuelsen, who is a Norway Under-21 international, has returned to West Ham, but not before expressing his gratitude to everyone at Peterborough.

West Ham are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 56 points from 34 matches.

The Hammers are five points behind fourth-placed Manchester City and still have a chance of clinching a Champions League spot.

Peterborough are 14th in the League One table at the moment with 57 points from 43 matches.

Samuelsen is a very talented young player, and West Ham fans are likely to see more of him in the coming months.
