The 22-year-old has also been linked with a move to Bayern Munich recently.
Ledley King has suggested that Harry Kane's desire to finish the journey that Tottenham have been on during the past two seasons would see him reject interest from elsewhere amid speculation linking him with both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, the London Evening Standard reports.
The European giants have both been linked with trying to sign the 22-year-old, the London Evening Standard reports, but former Spurs hero King suggested that the club's current talisman is too attached to White Hart Lane for his head to be turned by another club.
"I had an affiliation with the club as I came through the ranks and I think Harry has the same feeling," he told the London Evening Standard. "When you have that you want to take the club to places, you want to be part of it.
"Harry wants to win something at this club, he wants to take this club to the next level and he is very close to doing it.
"With the football he is playing, I have no doubt he is thinking only about performing and trying to achieve big things. It's something money can't buy."
While a move to one of the two clubs reportedly chasing his signature would be hugely tempting for a player with his talent, the progress that the Premier League side has made since he emerged into the first-team surely makes staying around and finding out how far they can go a very attractive prospect.
Since Mauricio Pochettino arrived and started giving the England forward regular football, Spurs have gone from top four outsiders to title contenders, and it has taken them less than two seasons.
And with their place in next season's Champions League virtually assured, and their hopes of clinching the league title this term still alive, it is difficult to imagine someone with the emotional attachment to the club that Kane has wanting to leave for a fresh challenge just yet.
