Stan Collymore takes swipe at Roberto Martinez and Everton defender John Stones on Twitter

Everton were hammered 4-0 by Liverpool in the Merseyside derby yesterday.

Stan Collymore has criticised both Everton manager Roberto Martinez and defender John Stones after the Merseyside derby yesterday.

Everton took on Liverpool at Anfield last night, but they were heavily beaten by their near rivals.

The Toffees couldn’t get into the game at Anfield, and they were throughly outplayed by Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Everton had a couple of brief moments on excitement in the first-half, but from the moment Divock Origi headed in Liverpool’s first they never looked like getting back into the match.

Liverpool added a second through Mamadou Sakho, and after the break things got even worse.

Ramiro Funes Mori was sent off, and Liverpool made their rivals pay with a numerical advantage.

Liverpool added a third through Daniel Sturridge, before Phillipe Coutinho rounded off the triumph by scoring from range.

And Collymore suggested that Everton needed to show far more fight, with Stones singled out for individual criticism.
