Sheffield Wednesday and Wolverhampton Wanderers fans react on Twitter to Jeremy Helan loan recall

Helan was summoned back to Hillsborough after two months at Molineux.

To the surprise of absolutely no-one at all, Sheffield Wednesday have exercised their option to recall Jeremy Helan from his Wolverhampton Wanderers loan spell.

The Owls have lost their own borrowed star Joe Bennett to a knee problem, leaving Daniel Pudil - who according to Wednesday assistant coach Lee Bullen "ran himself into the ground" in midweek - as the Owls only recognised and available left-back.

Helan, who last started a league game in Wednesday colours in December, will now provide the Czech international with competition throughout the rest of the season - with a play-off place looking increasingly likely.

The Frenchman started eight out of a possible 10 matches at Molineux - albeit mainly on the left wing - and may still end the regular campaign there given that Wednesday travel to Wolves on the final day.

However, the two clubs' fans can't seem to make up their minds about Helan's return to Hillsborough.
