The pundit and former striker has been previewing Sunderland's weekend clash.
Michael Owen believes Sunderland look good value to get a result against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon, according to his regular predictions column for Bet Victor.
Indeed, stopping short of predicting an outright victory, the pundit and former striker has tipped Sunderland to either win or draw against Arsene Wenger's men at the weekend.
And Owen told Bet Victor: "Sunderland, much like their North-East rivals, are still heavily involved in the relegation battle at the foot of the table but gave themselves a massive chance of staying up with last weekend’s 3-0 defeat of Norwich at Carrow Road.
"Sam Allardyce’s side welcome Arsenal to the Stadium of Light at the weekend and, with the Black Cats fighting for their lives, look a fair price at even money to leave the fixture with either one or all three points."
Sunderland hold the key to Newcastle United and Norwich City's fates, of course. Should the Black Cats win their game in hand, they'll be two points clear of Norwich and four clear of the Magpies.
Most importantly, they'll be in a position of safety.
Facing Arsenal has its advantages. The Gunners know they're not going to win the title and playing just to finish fourth may not exactly inspire the north London side.
But much will depend on how tonight's game against West Brom goes. If Arsenal can perform on Thursday, there's every suggestion they'll be up for the fight against Sunderland.
