Liverpool have been on a fine run of form as they chase down the final Champions League spot.
Liverpool legend Michael Owen has taken to social media network Twitter to praise the Reds for their performance against Everton last night, and claims they are becoming far more consistent under Jürgen Klopp.
The Merseyside outfit have lost only once in their last 11 games, and Owen feels like their inconsistency could be a thing of the past, as he tweeted:
Another very good performance from Liverpool last night. Inconsistent performances are becoming a thing of the past.— michael owen (@themichaelowen) April 21, 2016
Liverpool were fantastic last night, implementing the high press, high intensity style that Klopp expects of his team.
Everton didn't do themselves any favours with poor discipline hindering their Derby hopes, but the Reds were far too strong for them.
Klopp's men must surely now be considered an outside bet to reach the Champions League places. They sit seven points behind third placed Manchester City in the table, with a game in hand, and with three of their final five games at Anfield, they will be looking to take the maximum 15 points and exert some kind of pressure on those above them in the table.
They have a fantastic chance of qualifying for the Champions League by winning the Europa League too, and it will be up to Klopp to decide which route he prioritises.
