Leeds United boss Steve Evans has is believed to be a potential candidate to takeover from Ronny Deila at Celtic.
HITC broke the news yesterday that Leeds United is in the frame to replace Celtic manager Ronny Deila at the end of the season, and the reaction from both sets of supporters has been mixed.
Deila is set to leave Parkhead at the end of the season, with his contract due to expire.
Celtic confirmed yesterday that Deila would not be offered new terms, and Parkhead officials are now considering their options.
Evans is believed to be one of the names in the frame, as he reportedly has admirers in positions of power at Celtic.
Evans is a lifelong Celtic supporter, and when quizzed on the links today he admitted that he is flattered to be linked with the job at Parkhead.
Evans’ contract at Leeds is due to expire at the end of the season, and his future is very much up in the air.
The 53-year-old boss is yet to be presented with new terms, but after a difficult first few months he seems to have won some fans around at Elland Road.
There are sections Leeds supporters who would be disappointed to see Evans leave, while others suggest that they would rather the club look elsewhere.

@VLR Moyes, Mackay, Keane… Steve Evans. It's chronic. I'd like to think our board will be smarter than that but I'm not so sure.— Kieran Caw (@Kieran_Celtic) April 20, 2016
