Jurgen Klopp is expected to be very busy in the summer transfer window.
The Reds are expected to be busy in the summer transfer window, with manager Jurgen Klopp likely to mould the squad to better suit his needs.
The talk is firmly focused on who will be arriving at Anfield, with the German having already secured the signing of Joel Matip from Schalke.
While more arrivals are likely, there could be a similar number of departures as Klopp looks to remove the players he does not want.
Who that is remains to be seen, but Aldridge has named the four players he believes are certainties to leave.
“When Jurgen took over at Dortmund in his first close season he let 17 players go and brought 12 in. That might tell you something,” he told 888sport.com.
“Thankfully Liverpool don’t need to do that but it needs slimming down and I’m sure there will be comings and goings.
“You might be looking at Kolo Toure leaving because of his age and obviously Skrtel. Enrique will go, Bogdan will probably go and there are question marks over a number of midfielders. There will be a mini-cull at Liverpool.”
Of those four players Aldridge names, it would arguably be Skrtel that would be the most surprising exit.
The defender has been a mainstay in the Reds' defence for a number of years, but recent weeks have seen him fall out of favour as Dejan Lovren and Mamadou Sakho have been the preferred pairing.
With Matip also arriving, that is likely to see him fall further down the pecking order at the club and perhaps an exit is not as unlikely as it once seemed.
