Juan Villar, who was linked with Derby County and Brighton & Hove Albion last month, is being tracked by the Rams, Reading, Queens Park Rangers, a report claims.

Reading, Queens Park Rangers and Derby County are chasing Spanish winger Juan Villar, according to a report in Wednesday's Daily Star newspaper.

The Rams, along with promotion rivals Brighton & Hove Albion, were previously linked to the 27-year-old by Spanish football expert Guillem Balague on Twitter.

And fellow Championship pair Reading and QPR have reportedly joined them in the queue for his signature.

Villar, who plays for Segunda Liga side Real Valladolid, is said to be valued at £1 million having scored 13 goals and laid on seven assists this season.

Predominantly a right winger, Villar can also play on the left and up front if required.

Reading are expected to lose Wales international Hal Robson-Kanu when his contract expires this summer, while Benfica loanee Ola John could return to his parent club.

And Talksport reported on Tuesday that Turkish side Besiktas have shown an interest in QPR wideman Junior Hoilett, with the Canadian also out of contract.

Villar, who turns 28 in May, began his career at Recreativo de Huelva and arrived at the Estadio Nuevo Jose Zorilla last summer from Cadiz.
