Queens Park Rangers were beaten 4-0 by Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday.
QPR were hammered by Chris Hughton’s promotion chasers at the AMEX Stadium last night, but they actually had competed for the first-half of the contest.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s men appeared to have had to a foundation to build upon, but when Anthony Knockaert curled in a free kick just before the break they collapsed.
Rangers put in a highly disappointing display in the second period of the contest, as they conceded a further three times in a heavy defeat.
Although the loss is likely to have little impact on QPR’s position in the Championship this season, Sinton was still annoyed at the way his former side had performed.
QPR had gone into the match having lost just two of their last 11 outings, but they never looked like getting back into the match after falling behind.
Hasselbaink’s side have now seen just how much they need to improve, if they are to make it into the play offs next season.
QPR are next in action on Saturday against Reading at Loftus Road.
