Winston Reid played a central part in a dramatic match at the weekend as West Ham held league leaders Leicester City to a draw.
The New Zealand international's biggest contribution may have been winning a penalty late in the game, but amid this, the rest of his excellent performance was lost in the shuffle.
Reid won seven interceptions, more than Leicester's entire defence combined (6).
The centre-back's reading of the game was a big help for stand in right-back Michail Antonio, who himself played a key role in West Ham's second goal, scored by fellow full-back Aaron Cresswell.
It was only just over a year ago that there was a lot of speculation of Reid's future, but he committed himself to West Ham by signing a six-and-a-half year contract.
That commitment has translated to his displays on the pitch, and he has been a key player for the Hammers when fit this season, and will be expected to play a key role once again versus Watford this week.
