Cesc Fabregas names his Team of the Season

Stars from Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Manchester United, Southampton and Arsenal make the cut.

Chelsea midfield Cesc Fabregas has named his team of the season forSky Sports Monday Night Football, and none of his current teammates feature.

Instead, and unsurprisingly, the team is dominated by Leicester City stars as they sit top of the table and look to win the most unlikely of Premier League title successes.

Elsewhere, three Tottenham Hotspur stars are also in, as well as players from Manchester United, West Ham United, Southampton and his former club Arsenal.

In goal Fabregas opts for Spain teammate David de Gea, while Toby Alderweireld. Robert Huth, Ryan Bertrand and Hector Bellerin make up the defence.

In midfield it is a central partnership of Dele Alli and N’Golo Kante in arguably the perfect blend of attack and defence, with Dimitri Payet and Riyad Mahrez as formidable wingers.

Up front, Fabregas opts to partner Jamie Vardy with Harry Kane, with those two stars currently competing for the Premier League Golden Boot.

Indeed, that front two could be one football fans, especially England supporters, will be seeing more of in future with the duo pushing hard to be the Three Lions' strike duo at Euro 2016 this summer.
