Rangers manager Mark Warburton has been quoted as saying by the club’s official Twitter page that his side have exceeded expectations this season.
The Gers have already won the Scottish Championship title and the Scottish Challenge Cup this campaign.

Rangers booked their place in the final of the prestigious cup competition on Sunday afternoon when they got the better of Old Firm rivals Celtic in the semi-finals.
The Gers’ main aim at the start of the season was to win the Scottish Championship title and gain automatic promotion to the Scottish Premiership for the 2016-17 campaign.
Warburton has admitted that Rangers’ progress to the final of the Scottish Cup has been a bonus.

Rangers are having a truly wonderful season, and the fans must be loving it. With a few good signings in the summer transfer window, the Gers should be able to at least compete for a top-two or a top-three finish in the Scottish Premiership next season.
