Lord Sugar, Ian Wright and Matt Le Tissier react on Twitter to Harry Kane and Dele Alli's superb goals

Tottenham Hotspur beat Stoke City 4-0 on Monday evening.

Tottenham Hotspur closed the gap to league leaders Leicester City to just five points on Monday, by beating Stoke City 4-0 at the Britannia Stadium.

Spurs watched Leicester drop points against West Ham on Sunday, and whilst many tipped them to struggle at a tough Stoke side, they coasted to victory.

Harry Kane got the ball rolling early on with a superb curling strike, and Dele Alli then made it 2-0 after the break, dinking the ball over Shay Given after a superb pass from Christian Eriksen.

Kane then added his second and Tottenham's third from close range after Erik Lamela's square ball, and Alli then grabbed his second with a well-taken volley from an Eriksen cross.

Spurs sent a clear message to Leicester with this win, and will be hoping that the Foxes drop points against Swansea City this weekend, with Tottenham hosting West Brom on Monday.

It was Alli and Kane who once again stole the show against Stoke though, and during the game, pundits were raving about their goals.

Sky Sports pundit Matt Le Tissier, former Arsenal striker Ian Wright, BBC's Kevin KIlbane and ex-Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar all congratulated Kane for his outstanding first goal.

Sugar and Le Tissier also praised Alli's first goal, a deft chip into the net, and Dietmar Hamann suggested the goal was 'poetry in motion' - high praise indeed.

What did you think of Kane and Alli's performances against Stoke?
