Leeds United youngster Lewie Coyle featured as the club beat Wolves and secured their third win in a row.
Coyle, 20, had not started a game since the disastrous 4-0 loss away to Brighton, even though he was one of the brighter players in that lacklustre performance.
He has made three brief substitute appearances since, but his selection from the start for the home match with Wolves was a positive show of faith from head coach Steve Evans, who sees Gaetano Berardi as first choice right back.
Coyle featured for 57 minutes before being substituted for Stuart Dallas, having been asked to feature in an unfamiliar right midfield role.
Pleased to have started the game tonight, great 3 points in the end! #lufc— Lewie Coyle (@LewieCoyle) April 19, 2016
Leeds went on to win the game 2-1 through goals from Sol Bamba and Toumani Diagouraga.
The latter also took to twitter to comment, expressing his delight at scoring for a second game in a row.
The win has Leeds moving up to 11th place in the Championship table, just one point behind 10th placed Preston North End.
