Gary Lineker, Micky Hazard and Robbie Fowler praise Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur have closed the gap at the top of the Premier League to five points.

Gary Lineker has suggested that whatever happens in the Premier League title race this season, Tottenham Hotspur still have a very bright future.

Spurs have put together a wonderful campaign, despite having the youngest squad in England’s top flight.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are currently right in the thick of the battle for the title, and they closed the gap on league leaders Leicester City to five points yesterday.

Spurs picked up a highly impressive 4-0 win over Stoke City yesterday to keep the pressure on Claudio Ranieri’s side and Lineker was left purring over his former side.

Spurs were utterly dominant at the Britannia Stadium last night, with Harry Kane and Dele Alli both getting on the scoresheet twice.

It was not just Lineker who was praising the North London side, as Micky Hazard and Robbie Fowler both took to social media site Twitter to herald Spurs.

Tottenham’s next match comes against West Bromwich Albion next Monday, with Leicester taking on Swansea City at home the day before.
