Gallery: Tottenham Hotspur beat Stoke City 4-0 to move five points off the top

Spurs turned in an emphatic display at Stoke on Monday night.

Tottenham Hotspur sent an ominous warning to Leicester City on Monday night, thrashing Stoke City 4-0 at the Britannia Stadium.

England pair Harry Kane and Dele Alli were each at the double in Staffordshire to move Mauricio Pochettino's side five points behind the Foxes, who could be without top scorer Jamie Vardy for their next two fixtures.

Despite the gap, Spurs fans made their assessment abundantly clear, warning Leicester: We're coming for you.

Tottenham face West Bromwich Albion, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Southampton in their final four fixtures, with the Foxes requiring a maximum of eight points from their games against Swansea City, Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea to secure the title.

On last night's evidence, Spurs will push them every step of the way and now boast the Premier League's best defence and attack should it come down to goal difference.
