Rangers beat Celtic in the Scottish Cup semi-final on Sunday afternoon.
Ronald de Boer was delighted with Rangers' Scottish Cup victory against Celtic on Sunday afternoon.
Indeed, Mark Warburton's side defeated Ronny Deila's men on penalties after a draw and the former Rangers man was one of many to take to Twitter in celebration.
De Boer praised the Rangers players and was delighted old rivals Celtic were beaten. He tweeted:
R: Meanwhile @RangersFC beat Celtic...

What a performance... well done boys. #proud #OldFirm
Meanwhile, ex-Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor, now at Hull City, also took to social media to celebrate the win.
He chose to mock Hull team-mate David Meyler, who is a Celtic fan, and explained his patience in waiting for the full-time result to hit back at the Bhoys supporter.
It was a truly satisfying moment for the Hull shot stopper:
Well well well @DavidMeyler7 I have been patiently waiting and hoping for this so I could retweet the life out of your tweet so here goes

Can Rangers now hold genuine hope of beating Celtic regularly in the Scottish Premiership next season and winning the title?
The Bhoys have been on the decline for some time and simply haven't bothered to acknowledge the threat the Gers pose.
