Former Queens Park Rangers and Manchester City forward Rodney Marsh has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Toby Alderweireld’s performance for Tottenham Hotspur against Stoke City away from home.
Alderweireld started the Premier League game at the Britannia Stadium on Monday evening and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The 27-year-old Belgium international central defender had a good game and played his role in the North London outfit’s 4-0 victory.
The former Ajax and Atletico Madrid man took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 81%, and made two interceptions, nine clearances and two blocks.
Marsh was impressed with the performance of Alderweireld against Stoke, and claimed on Twitter that the defender is an underrated player.

Alderweireld has scored four goals and created nine chances in 34 Premier League appearances for Tottenham so far this season.
The centre-back has a pass accuracy of 80% and a shot accuracy of 41%, and has won 55 headers, seven dribbles and 28 tackles.
