To be played on Wednesday 20th April 2016 at 19:00. Venue: Anfield, Liverpool
Odds: Liverpool 17/20, Draw 13/5, Everton 16/5
Liverpool welcome Everton to Anfield on Wednesday evening for the latest Merseyside derby.
With both sides struggling in the league for much of the current campaign this match may not have as much riding on it as some of its predecessors, but neither side will want to end on the losing side such is the importance of the match in the city.
Liverpool will be boosted by their impressive recent form, following up their unforgettable comeback against Borussia Dortmund with a 2-1 victory against Bournemouth at the weekend.
In contrast Everton are struggling to climb up the table and are now without a win in their last five games.
That said, the Toffees certainly have the players to get one over Jurgen Klopp’s side; the trick is to ensure they play to their full potential away from home.
In early team news, Liverpool are without Joe Gomez, Emre Can, Jordan Henderson, Christian Benteke, Danny Ings and Jordan Rossiter.
Divock Origi and Kolo Toure are minor doubts but both are rated at 75 per cent to be fit if called upon.
As for Everton, their manager Roberto Martinez cannot call on Phil Jagielka, Tony Hibbert, Tyias Browning, Tom Cleverley or Seamus Coleman.
