Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has posted a picture of himself in the gym, as he continues his comeback from injury.
Krul has not played for Newcastle since the start of October, after damaging his knee while playing for Holland.
The 28-year-old is not expected to come back into contention before the end of the season, but he was pleased to see Newcastle pick up a win against Swansea City last Saturday.
The Magpies’ victory over Swansea was a comprehensive one, and it has boosted their survival chances.
Newcastle managed to pick up a 3-0 victory at St. James’ Park, thanks to goals from Jamaal Lascelles, Moussa Sissoko and Andros Townsend.
The victory was Rafael Benitez’s first since he took over on Tyneside, and it has reduced the gap to safety considerably.
Newcastle are now only three points adrift of 17th placed Norwich City, and they have a game in hand.
Newcastle’s next fixture comes against Manchester City on Tuesday evening.
