Liverpool made it five wins in their last seven Premier League games on Sunday afternoon, beating Bournemouth 2-1 at the Vitality Stadium.
After the miraculous fightback against Borussia Dortmund on Thursday evening, manager Jurgen Klopp decided to rest a host of key Liverpool players, making ten changes to his line-up against Bournemouth.
He still came away with a win though, as Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge put Liverpool 2-0 up, before a late Josh King goal handed Bournemouth a consolation.
The game will largely be remembered for Klopp choosing to start a host of young, talented players, with Danny Ward, Connor Randall, Brad Smith, Kevin Stewart and Sheyi Ojo all performing well, giving Liverpool fans a glimpse of the future at Anfield.
After the game, a number of those young players took to Twitter to react to their performances and the win, with goalkeeper Ward thanking fans for their messages after making his Premier League debut, with left back Brad Smith also thanking fans.
Winger Ojo reflected on a great win by posting a picture of himself with manager Klopp, whilst defender Randall posted a picture of him celebrating with goalscorer Firmino.
Away from the youth movement, established stars Simon Mignolet, Mamadou Sakho, Lucas Leiva and striker Sturridge also posted messages, with Mignolet congratulating his fellow goalkeeper Ward on his debut.
