The 19-year-old forward moved to Leeds United with his brother at the turn of the year.
Leeds United striker Jack McKay scored his latest goal for the under-21s in a 1-1 draw with Colchester United on Monday afternoon.
The 19-year-old netted from the penalty spot although his effort was ultimately cancelled out with just four minutes of normal-time remaining.
It was a blow to Leeds’ youngsters in what was their penultimate match of the under-21 season but McKay can at least take pride in again finding the net.
The forward and his twin brother Paul joined Leeds from Doncaster Rovers during the January transfer window and while they were not exactly the headline names many Whites fans were expecting they are tipped to have bright futures at Elland Road.
While the pair was always going to find it incredibly tough to break into Steve Evans’ first-team this season, their performance at under-21 level mean they will have caught their manager’s eye and this summer they may be included in the pre-season training squad.
From there anything can happen, but for now they will be focused solely on ending the under-21 season in fine style.
