Frank McAvennie and Des McKeown react on Twitter to Celtic defeat to Rangers

Ibrox side Rangers won against Old Firm rivals Celtic in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup on Sunday.

Frank McAvennie has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s defeat to Rangers on Sunday afternoon.

Celtic lost to Ibrox side and Old Firm rivals Rangers in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

The game finished 2-2 after extra time, and Mark Warburton’s side clinched the contest 5-4 on penalties.

Former Celtic striker McAvennie was following the game, and he was not impressed with manager Ronny Deila’s decision not to bring Kris Commons on as a substitute.

Former Airdrieonians and Albion Rovers player Des McKeown has highlighted on Twitter a difference between Celtic boss Deila and Rangers manager Mark Warburton.

During the match, Rangers had 63% of the possession, took nine shots of which three were on target, and earned 10 corners.

Celtic had 37% of the possession, took 33 shots of which 10 were on target, and earned nine corners.

Rangers, who have already clinched the Scottish Championship title and the Scottish Challenge Cup this season, now have a chance of winning the treble.
