Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers go head-to-head later this week.
The Whites have won their last two games – against Birmingham City and Reading – and will be seeking a welcome hat-trick later this week.
Wolves are smarting from their 2-1 loss to Hull City and will not want to see Leeds move further up the table with another three points at Elland Road.
Whatever happens this week, Leeds may be without some of their key players after a bug took its toll on the squad, but there is better news regarding Sol Bamba and Liam Bridcutt
Speaking to leedsunited.com on Monday, Evans said, “We’ve got options and Sol Bamba is back and in training. He’s a lot better.
“Liam Bridcutt is also ready to come back and play, subject to him coming through training today.”
That said, loan signing Mustapha Carayol is not yet ready to get back out on the pitch and may have to wait for the clash against Charlton Athletic.
“He’ll certainly miss tomorrow evening against Wolves and over at Hull on Saturday,” Evans added.
But despite that blow there is no doubt Leeds have the quality to continue their fine recent run and build up some momentum ahead of what will be a vital new season.
