The Black Cats beat Norwich 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Pride, passion, determination. All of these qualities were missing from Sunderland's first team at the start of the season.

All, however, were on show on Saturday afternoon as the Black Cats thrashed Norwich City 3-0 at Carrow Road.

Duncan Watmore netted his side's third at Norwich and celebrated with real relief - as pictured above.

Fabio Borini and Jermain Defoe, meanwhile, expressed their feelings after celebrating an earlier goal:

The two images sum up Sunderland's relegation fight right now.

Unlike Norwich, they are taking the bull by the horns. Newcastle United managed the same against Swansea City, of course, but Sam Allardyce's men don't have to worry about the Magpies so long as they keep winning.
