The ex-Arsenal man is looking forward to meeting his former club.
The Eagles make the short trip to North London today as they hunt what would be just their second Premier League victory in 2016 - the first of which came just last weekend with a 1-0 victory over Norwich City.
The Togolese striker, who spent three and a half years at the Emirates, is unlikely to receive a positive reception from the Gunners' faithful, leaving for Manchester City in 2009 and then going on to join their bitter local rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Nevertheless, Adebayor, who joined Alan Pardew's side on a short-term contract in January, is looking forward to meeting his old side once more it seems after posting a rare message on Twitter.
SEA,massive game today. Always a special feeling when you go against your former Club. Lets go out there and enjoy! pic.twitter.com/A7CNIIBpo4— Emmanuel Adebayor (@E_Adebayor) April 17, 2016
This afternoon's result is unlikely to affect either side's Premier League season a great deal, with Arsenal more or less out of the running for a league title, whereas Palace are eight points of the relegation zone and should be alright.
