The striker was in fine form in the 3-0 win over Chelsea on Saturday.
The Argentine was in fine form in Saturday’s late kick off, as he bagged himself a hattrick to secure his side an impressive 3-0 win.
Those goals took him to 26 in all competitions this season, while it was also his seventh hattrick in total for the club.
He received widespread praise for his performance, and one of those was former City ‘keeper David James who said the striker was spot on in the game.
Treble for Aguero, spot on today!— David James (@jamosfoundation) April 16, 2016
Manuel Pellegrini’s side will certainly be hoping Aguero can enjoy similar goalscoring form between now and the end of the season.
His goals on Saturday took his side four points clear of Manchester United in fifth as they seek to secure their place in the top four season, and the Champions League next season.
He will arguably be most important in Europe however, with the side’s hopes of progressing past Real Madrid in the Champions League semi finals surely resting on him and the likes of Belgian Kevin de Bruyne.
