Diafra Sakho will miss West Ham United’s game against Leicester City, but he could be back for the match against Watford.

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has revealed on social networking site Twitter that Diafra Sakho should be available for the game against Watford on Wednesday evening.

The Hammers will take on Leicester City away from home at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League this afternoon.

The 26-year-old striker will miss the match due to an injury, but Gold is hopeful that the Senegal international will be back for the league fixture against Watford at the Boleyn Ground on Wednesday evening.

Sakho has scored four goals and created 10 chances in 16 Premier League appearances for West Ham so far this season.

The former Metz striker has a pass accuracy of 61% and a shot accuracy of 45%, and has won 45 headers, 14 dribbles and eight tackles.

West Ham are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 52 points from 32 matches.

Slaven Bilic’s side are still in the hunt for a top-four finish in the table this season, but they need to win today’s match against Leicester.
