John Aldridge has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool’s win against Bournemouth away from home on Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool continued their recent run of good form with a 2-1 victory over Bournemouth away from home at Dean Court.
Roberto Firmino scored the first goal for the Reds in the 41st minute, and Daniel Sturridge doubled their lead in the second minute of first-half injury time.
England international striker Sturridge played a role in the first goal as well, as it was his audacious backheel that Artur Boruc saved only for Firmino to score from the rebound.
Former Liverpool striker Aldridge was following the match, and he was pleased with the Reds’ win and Sturridge’s performance.
