The young striker has recently shone for Jurgen Klopp's side.
The Belgian striker has come into his own this season, with a series of impressive performances since Jurgen Klopp took charge.
He was in fine form the last week in particular, with two top drawer displays against Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League and two goals in a win over Stoke City.
His displays have been something of a surprise, with the young striker having endured a torrid season on loan at Lille last year.
Not Collymore though, who is keen to remind Liverpool fans what he was saying about Origi two years ago.
Origi has certainly impressed under Jurgen Klopp this season, with his performances in recent weeks having caught the eye.
Indeed, there is now a question of who is the first choice centre forward in the team between him and Daniel Sturridge.
At one stage Sturridge would have been far ahead of the Belgian, but Origi’s displays, and more importantly the defensive work rate he has shown has arguably put him ahead of his rival at present.
