Robert Elliot and Lamine Kone send messages on Twitter ahead of key games

Newcastle United will face Swansea City in the Premier League today, while Sunderland will take on Norwich City.

Sunderland defender Lamine Kone has taken to social networking site Twitter to underline the importance of the game against Norwich City this afternoon.

The Black Cats will take on fellow relegation candidates Norwich away from home at Carrow Road in the Premier League in a few hours’ time.

Ivory Coast international centre-back Kone has taken to Twitter to make it clear that he and his teammates will give their all to pick up all three points this afternoon.

Newcastle are also in serious danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Rafael Benitez’s side are in action this afternoon as well, as they face Swansea City at home in the Premier League.

The Magpies need to bag all three points from the game at St. James’ Park in order to retain a realistic chance of escaping the drop.

Goalkeeper Robert Elliot, who is injured at the moment, has taken to Twitter to urge his teammates to get the job done against the Swans.
