The Reds were impressive this week as they beat Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League.
The German has been a big hit at Anfield since replacing Brendan Rodgers in October, with many predicting a bright future under his leadership.
Those beliefs were given a huge boost this week as his side played their part in another special European night to progress past Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League quarterfinals.
Much is likely to rest on the work that Klopp can do during the summer transfer window, and Savage says a good one could see them challenge for the title next season.
“It was one of the greatest nights in Liverpool’s history,” he told Fletch and Sav.
“I must say, Liverpool under Klopp, if they invest well in the summer and have a good pre-season then they won’t be far away from the Premier League next year.”
It will certainly be interesting to see what work Klopp looks to undertake in the coming transfer window.
Many would have believed that his defence needs serious work, but recent weeks have seen Mamadou Sakho and Dejan Lovren form an impressive partnership.
Similarly, a striker may have been at the top of his list, but the emergence of Divock Origi has put questions over that need also.
