Dave Edwards reacts on Twitter to Wolves defeat

Wolverhampton Wanderers lost against Hull City in the Championship on Friday evening.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Dave Edwards has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s failure to win against Hull City away from home on Friday evening.

Kenny Jackett’s side suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to Hull at the KC Stadium in the Championship.

Adama Diomande put the Tigers in the lead after just five minutes, but Edwards restored parity for Wolves on 19 minutes when he headed home past Allan McGregor.

Robert Snodgrass’s injury-time free-kick bounced in off goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, as Hull picked up all three points from the encounter.

Edwards has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment at the final result, but he was pleased with Wolves’ defence.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the KC Stadium on Friday evening, hosts Hull had 58% of the possession, took 16 shots of which just three were on target, and earned seven corners.

Visitors Wolves had 42% of the possession, took nine shots of which four were on target, and earned seven corners.
