Newcastle will be looking to bounce back from Saturday's crushing 3-1 away defeat to Southampton with a result against Swansea City this afternoon.
The Magpies are running out of time to save themselves from relegation, and a positive result today is needed if Rafael Benitez is going to save the club.
Today, Benitez has made a bold call by leaving Jonjo Shelvey out of his starting line-up, dropping the midfielder to the bench in a stunning move.
The Spaniard has been limited to a makeshift back four, with Paul Dummett, Jamaal Lascelles, Chancel Mbemba and Vurnon Anita starting, whilst no defenders are on the bench.
Papiss Cisse leads the line again despite Aleksandar Mitrovic's recent goals, whilst Ayoze Perez is also on the bench.
Meanwhile, Swansea appear to have saved themselves from the drop with some strong recent results, including a win over Chelsea last weekend.
In-form Gylfi Sigurdsson will start again as he looks to add to his impressive goal account, with Jefferson Montero continuing out wide, whilst January signing Alberto Paloschi will be hoping to end the season well.
Former Newcastle United winger Wayne Routledge is only on the bench, and is joined by the likes of Bafetimbi Gomis and Modou Barrow for the Swans.
