Slaven Bilic shares what David Sullivan sends him before West Ham games

The Croat revealed that David Sullivan sends him emails prior to some games.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has revealed via The Telegraph that he occasionally receives pre-match emails from co-chairman David Sullivan in relation to his side's chances of winning.

The Hammers have made something of a habit of upsetting the odds this season, with Bilic's boys earning a reputation for beating England's elite - a habit which Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham and Liverpool will testify to.

“The chairman emails me sometimes the odds and basically very few times were we favourites, every away game, no matter who we play we are underdogs,” Bilic told The Telegraph.

The only elite English club which the Irons haven't beaten this season is Manchester United, who beat West Ham 2-1 in an FA Cup quarter-final replay on Wednesday night.

It ended the East Londoners' hopes of winning a trophy, while they also have a very big job on their hands in order to reach the top four in the Premier League.

Five points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, Bilic's side, in sixth, visit Leicester City on Sunday in a game which they just cannot lose if they want to rub shoulders with Europe's elite in the Champions League next term.
