A host of Liverpool stars reacted to the Dortmund victory on Twitter.
Anfield has seen its fair share of memorable European nights in the past, but Liverpool's 4-3 win over Borussia Dortmund to reach the Europa League semi-finals on Thursday must rank among the greatest.
Trailing 2-0 on the night and 3-1 in the tie at half time, Jurgen Klopp's side netted four second-half goals - including a stoppage-time winner from Dejan Lovren - to seal a 5-4 aggregate win on what was a very special night on Merseyside.
By virtue of the drama, Liverpool players were not shy on Twitter afterwards as a host of them reflected on the pulsating clash on social media.
Wow liverpoolwhat a game . So happy for my brothers Lovren and @mamadousakho ⚽️— Mario Balotelli (@FinallyMario) April 14, 2016
Balotelli has struggled on his season-long loan at San Siro, netting one Serie A goal in 16 appearances, and it would be a miracle in itself if Klopp retains him for next season - especially with Divock Origi, who scored in both legs, continuing to impress under the German manager.
Klopp's troops will be joined in the semi-final draw by defending champions Sevilla, Shakhtar Donetsk and Villarreal.
