West Ham United are currently five points away from the top four.
John Hartson has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show on TalkSPORT, which was broadcast on 15th April, that West Ham United will need to win every match if they are to break into the top four this season.
The Hammers have managed to push for a Champions League place this season, but they now look to be the outsiders to break into the top four.
Slaven Bilic’s side are currently five points behind fourth placed Manchester City, with just six games remaining in their league season.
And Hartson said, when asked whether West Ham’s hopes of making the top four were over: “They’ll need to win every game, and see the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City to have a poor run. It’s vital now that City get there, in terms of Guardiola coming in and Wenger always seems to find a way.
“But European football for West Ham… West Ham have a brilliant season.”
If West Ham are to win every match remaining in their season, they would need to turn around their current form.
The Hammers have failed to be victorious in any of their last five matches in all competitions, and they were dumped out of the FA Cup by Manchester United in their most recent outing.
The London side’s next fixture comes against top of the table Leicester City on Sunday, before they face Watford, West Bromwich Albion, Swansea City, Manchester United and Stoke City to conclude their season.
