Jerzy Dudek, Dirk Kuyt and more react on Twitter to Liverpool comeback

The former Liverpool stars were delighted with the current Reds charges on social media.

Liverpool's former players were out in full force on Twitter on Thursday night, after the current squad pulled off a simply magnificent 4-3 comeback win against Borussia Dortmund.

The Reds were both 2-0 and 3-1 down at Anfield but produced a performance those who were in Istanbul during the 2005 Champions League final would have been proud of.

And they were.

Indeed, Jerzy Dudek took to social media to celebrate, while his successor Pepe Reina - who took part in a similar comeback a year later in the 2006 FA Cup final against West Ham - also tweeted:

Meanwhile, Dirk Kuyt, who reached the Champions League final with Liverpool in 2007, shared a similar message.

And Dietmar Hamann, also playing at Istanbul in '05, urged the Reds to go and win the Europa League from here.

Can Jurgen Klopp's men now go all the way - to make the comeback against Dortmund even more memorable and important?
