Former QPR boss Ian Holloway has reluctantly predicted a 1-0 win for Cardiff City when they host the R's this weekend, according to his regular predictions column for Sky Sports.
Indeed, the pundit believes Cardiff's greater need to win - they are five points off a play-off place - will ultimately guide them to victory.
He is, however, hoping he's jinxed proceedings the other way with his prediction!
Holloway told Sky Sports: "Cardiff need to win this one to keep tabs on the top six. I don't really want to talk about this game too much as I loathe going against the Rs. Hopefully I'll jinx it by going for a home win!"
QPR are only eight points off Cardiff - who are the nearest 'outside' competitors to a play-off place.
That represents just how much the R's have improved under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, as the west London club were sometimes closer to the bottom few teams of the Championship than the top before his arrival.
The manager even got off to an inconsistent start himself, while there is still plenty of room for improvement at Loftus Road.
But things are going well for QPR. Cardiff fans will hope Holloway is right about them going wrong this weekend, though...
