Predicted Newcastle line-up to play Swansea: Two changes from Benitez

Here is how we predict Newcastle United and Swansea City will line up this weekend:

To be played on Saturday 16th April 2016 at 14:00. Venue: St. James' Park, Newcastle

Odds: Newcastle 11/8, Draw 23/10, Swansea 21/10

Newcastle United welcome Swansea City to St James’ Park on Saturday for their latest huge Premier League encounter.

The Magpies are deep in a relegation battle, six points from safety with just six matches remaining, and after failing to win any of Rafa Benitez’s first four games in charge things are looking bleak for the club.

With Sunderland and Norwich City – the two sides directly above them in the table – playing each other this weekend, Newcastle will know the importance of getting another three points of their own on the board.

After all, if Norwich win and Benitez’s side lose that could all but seal the fate of both Newcastle and the Black Cats.

In early team news, Newcastle are without Rob Elliot, Tim Krul and Massadio Haidara while Fabricio Coloccini is a major doubt.

The Magpies also have minor doubts concerning Daryl Janmaat and Steven Taylor but both are expected to be fit if called upon.

As for Swansea, they have a minor doubt regarding Leon Britton but have an otherwise clean bill of health.
