To be played on Saturday 16th April 2016 at 14:00. Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester
Odds: Man Utd 2/9, Draw 5/1, Aston Villa 14/1
Aston Villa travel to Old Trafford this weekend for their latest Premier League encounter, knowing anything less than a victory will confirm their relegation to the second tier of English football.
In truth Villa’s goal-difference – and their woeful form this season – means all but the most hopeful of supporters know they are already down, but Saturday could see confirmation of that fact.
United will be buzzing after their FA Cup quarter-final replay victory against West Ham United on Wednesday evening, and they will know any more slip ups in the league will see their hopes of a top-four finish disappear.
As for Villa, if they cannot motivate themselves for this match something is very wrong at the club.
In early team news, United are without Luke Shaw, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Will Keane, while Wayne Rooney returned to first-team action against the Hammers.
As for Villa, they cannot call on Jordan Amavi while forward Gabby Agbonlahor is a minor doubt due to illness but is rated at 75 per cent to be available if called upon.
