For Hire

Bank of America Merrill Lynch said Burri Rao-Kathi, its head of Americas equity-linked capital markets, has decided to leave the company and named Shiv Vasisht in the role.

Reuters reports that Vasisht has 17 years of experience in equity and equity-linked securities, including as head of equity-linked and strategic equity solutions at UBS before he joined BAML in 2013, according to a memo to staff from JD Moriarty, head of Americas equity capital markets.

In the meantime, Reuters also reports that Citigroup has named Gerry Keefe head of corporate banking for Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong.

Keefe, who has run corporate banking in Japan since 2014, will transfer from Tokyo by the end of June to take up the newly created role.

Finally, Reuters reports that David Haldane has been appointed global head of derivative trading at Citigroup following the resignation of James Boyle from his role as global head of equity derivatives, according to an internal bank memo. Haldane was previously Citi's head of EMEA equity derivatives.
