Liverpool produced a sensational comeback as they knocked Borussia Dortmund out of the Europa League.
Substitute Joe Allen played a vital role in Liverpool's comeback, despite coming on with his team in a perilous position.
They were 3-1 down and needed to score three themselves, and keep Dortmund out at the other end, which had so far proved difficult.
Yet somehow they managed it, and Allen's calm, incisive passing was a big part of their success. It was no coincidence that their improvement came after he was brought on.

Allen's performance was perfectly timed from an individual standpoint as well as the fact his team desperately needed him.
His contract is set to expire in a year's time, and he told The BBC this week that no talks have taken place over a new deal.
This certainly will have helped his case, and it was very much in keeping with the rest of his displays under new boss Jurgen Klopp.
Here is a look at how Liverpool fans reacted on Twitter to Allen's substitute performance...
Joe Allen excellent again off the bench tonight, arguably the match winning change #LFC— Andy Brown (@rewmanbrown) April 14, 2016
Allen substitution changed the game because we then had someone who moves the ball faster than the rest #lfc— Man of Justice (@SuperGops) April 14, 2016
