The Bulgarian is on his way out of the City Ground.

One of Nottingham Forest’s talented youngsters looks like being on their way out of the club.

It is being reported that 19-year-old Bulgarian striker Nikolay Todorov will be leaving the club on a free this summer.

The Edinburgh Evening News is reporting that the teenager is currently on trial at Scottish Premiership club Hearts.

The teen is currently training with the under-21 squad in the Scottish capital and is available on a free transfer from the City Ground. He will remain on trial with the club until the end of the week and then find out if he has done enough to earn himself a deal with the Jambos.

Nottingham Forest have clearly decided that Todorov does not have a future at the club.

The teenager has struggled with an ankle injury during his time in England, after joining the club from Cherno More Varna.

He has spent time on loan this term at the likes of Hemel Hempstead and Worcester City and Hearts would be a good move for the player.

Strong in the air and a hard worker, Forest fans will hope he succeeds in the future.
