Queens Park Rangers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has reflected on his side’s recent run of fixtures, which have all come against his former clubs, on social media site Twitter.
In a strange coincidence, QPR have had to face off against a number of their manager’s old clubs of late.
Rangers have taken on Middlesbrough, Leeds United and Charlton Athletic in their last three matches, and their next fixture comes against Cardiff City.
During his playing days, Hasselbaink represented all four clubs - and he is looking forward to returning to Cardiff at the weekend.
QPR’s record over their last three matches has been rather indifferent.
Rangers have taken four points from their last three games. They first lost 3-2 Middlesbrough, before drawing 1-1 with Leeds and then beating Charlton 2-1.
QPR are now in 11th place in the Championship table, but they are too far behind the top six to mount a late push for the play offs.
Their opponents on Saturday, Cardiff, will be hoping to do just that though - as they are only five points behind sixth placed Sheffield Wednesday, as things stand.
