West Ham or Manchester United for FA Cup, says Danny Mills

FA Cup

The two are set to clash in their quarter final replay this week.

West Ham United or Manchester United will likely be the winners of the FA Cup this season, Danny Mills has told Sportlobster.

The two sides are into the quarterfinals of the competition this season, with them playing out a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford last month.

They are set to play their replay at Upton Park this week, with the winner set to face Everton in the semi finals of the competition at Wembley.

And Mills has told Sportlobster that whoever progresses from that replay will likely be the winners of the competition, praising the Hammers for their form this season.

“Realistically, I think the winner of the FA Cup will come from the victor of the West Ham v Man United replay,” he told Sportlobster.

“I really like the look of West Ham, they look strong and have some injured players in Tomkins and Reid to come back into the fold. Payet has been sensational.”

“I have to say the good work was started by Sam Allardyce has been continued by Bilic and now it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that West Ham could win the FA Cup and finish in the top four.”

Given the form of the two sides this season one would back the Hammers for success in this game.

They are certainly keen to go on and win the FA Cup as well, with their fans eyeing success in the competition as a fitting send off for the Boleyn Ground this season.

Luck could be on their side also, with Louis van Gaal’s side arguably keener to secure a place in the top four than FA Cup success.
