The former Croatia boss has enjoyed an impressive first season in charge of the Hammers.
The Croatian is coming towards the end of his first season in charge at the Hammers after replacing Sam Allardyce last summer.
It has been a fruitful first campaign in charge as well, with his side currently sitting sixth in the table and within touching distance of the top four and a Champions League place.
They are also in contention for a place in the FA Cup semi finals, if they can overcome Manchester United in a quarterfinal replay on Wednesday.
One man who has been impressed is striker Carroll, who says his manager is great on and off the pitch.
“He’s a great manager and a great bloke, to be honest,” he told whufc.com
“You can talk to him about football or not about football, and when it comes to games his tactics are spot-on.”
“He has changed a lot and brought all the lads together and with all the staff he’s brought in, it’s been very good. With the way we’ve played this season, it’s shown he has brought in the way he wants us to play and the lads are enjoying it.”
The Hammers will now be hoping that they can cap off Bilic’s first season on a high with either a top four finish or an FA Cup success.
Of the two, the latter is certainly the one the fans, and some players, are most keen on, as they eye the old trophy as a fitting send off for the Boleyn Ground before their move to the Olympic Stadium.
At this stage, the cup seems to be the more realistic target as well, with Manchester City having managed to move five points clear of the Hammers in the race for fourth.
