The Reds have seen a host of youngsters play under Jurgen Klopp, with Kevin Stewart and Sheyi Ojo both impressing in Sunday's 4-1 win over Stoke City.
Now though, it seems that manager Jurgen Klopp is keen to add more young English talent to his ranks, and a deal for Ipswich Town teenager Andre Dozzell could be close.
The Mirror claim that Liverpool scouts have been sent to watch Dozzell, and Liverpool are already in talks with Ipswich about a deal which could cost the Reds up to £1.5m in compensation.
Dozzell, the son of former Ipswich and Tottenham midfielder Jason Dozzell, is an England Under-17 international who has yet to make his first-team debut for Ipswich, but looks to be heading to Anfield this summer in a huge move for the wonderkid.
The 16-year-old had interest from a host of other clubs though, with The Mirror noting that Klopp and Liverpool are set to beat Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United to Dozzell's signature.
Dozzell only turns 17 next month, and that £1.5m fee is a huge price for somebody of his age, but Liverpool and Klopp must be confident that he can be a star of the future, having had him scouted for months.
Do you think Dozzell will be a good signing for Liverpool?
